What you'll do
- Own a portfolio of warm and cold leads across independent hotels, resorts and homestays in India.
- Run structured discovery conversations to understand each property's operations, distribution mix and revenue challenges.
- Qualify opportunities rigorously and prioritise those with genuine business potential.
- Present the GoHotelify platform with clarity, tailored to each property: direct bookings, channel management, front-desk operations, GST invoicing and guest communication.
- Lead prospects through product demonstrations, commercial discussions and closure.
- Handle objections with facts and the customer's own numbers, never with pressure.
- Follow up with discipline and keep an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in our CRM.
- Share what you hear in the market with the product team, to help shape what we build next.
What we're looking for
- Excellent spoken and written communication in English and Hindi. Additional Indian languages are an advantage.
- A consultative selling style: you persuade through understanding, not pressure.
- Commercial awareness: you can connect what a product does to measurable business outcomes.
- Ownership and discipline: you follow up consistently and keep your pipeline in order without reminders.
- The ability to learn a multi-module product quickly and explain it simply.
- Experience in B2B, SaaS, hospitality or inside sales, telesales or business development is valued. Exceptional freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- A laptop, a smartphone and a reliable internet connection. The role is remote; after six months of full-time employment you may be asked to relocate to our Koramangala, Bengaluru office, based on business needs.
Compensation
Performance probation (first two months): commission-based. You earn approximately 8% of the annualised projected revenue of every eligible subscription you close, under our sales and commission policy. For example, a hotel subscribing at ₹2,000 a month represents ₹24,000 in annualised revenue and earns you ₹1,920. Full-time employment: candidates who perform strongly during probation may be offered a full-time role as Business Development Officer with Stairio Technologies Private Limited. Full-time compensation is based on performance, experience and the role. Conversion is assessed on revenue generated, the quality of conversions, pipeline discipline, product understanding and professionalism. Completing probation does not by itself guarantee a full-time offer.
